went for a surf on saturday and left the mrs with the camera to take some pics of me. needless to say she didnt get any she took 100 odd shots of some other guy with a blue and white surfboard like mine! . she did get one nice image tho, the rest are mine.

I dont know how to put this, but I like the photo your Mrs took best, seems to have really captured the moment along with a DOF

I dont really like 2 & 3 TBH

The last one I think is good aswell shows the force of the waves, I think it would have been improved if you could see the shore or breaking against rocks (seascapes tend to look a bit flat to me, particularly when the sky is grey)

lol sods law isnt it! yeah, i really like it too thats why i thought id share it. she's a journo so wants to learn to use a camera properly in case it's of use sometime - i think she's doing just fine as it is.

number 3 i wasnt that fond of but just liked the size of the wave. i wish i could have them breaking over rocks, but alas at theat beach they break over a sandbar so its further out.
