You've improved the Levels giving extra contrast, which works well, but think you've saturated a little too much

Thanks for your replies. I felt the first one was a bit soft as the Cam was handheld. So I sharpened it a bit and also increased the contrast.

I thought the first one was a bit soft as well. Quite nice composition however. In the post processing - the more I do the more I realize less is more.

Great, Post processing, less is more. Will surely remember that phrase. Thanks a lot nichpr. I always bad when I have to PP a picture. The old film days we used to take many pics of the same scene at differen settings, and hope that some of them will look presentable. Digital age has made me more complacent. Will try and limit my PP and try to take better pics, thinking I still have a Film camera. I feel that is where the real talent comes out.

Nice shot, i was over in Dubai in 2000 before i was into photography and we went to Sharjah for the day, there was an old shopping center, thinking back you could get some great shots of people shopping but not sure it would be allowed

You are right, way back in 2000, and to some extent even now, Sharjah has remained a little backward compared to Dubai. Photographing people can still raise eyebrows. But compared to one old shopping mall in Sharjah those days, today there are mega malls on every major street.
Make a vist again and you will find the difference. The corniche has been made very beautiful and a lot of parks and recreational areas have come up too.
Hope you will have a very nice time when you visit Sharjah the next time.
