British Time Trial Championships

Well, just finished processing my shots, so here are a few, the rest are on my website if you fancy wading through all 300 or so.

Oh, and I put a nice wonky one in there just for Fiona

Re: British Time Trial Championships

Thank you. It was a dull and cloudy day (just ask Dave!) so happy with the ISO 800 performance on these shots.

Super sharp & good isolation of subject from background. I think I need a bit more practice

A good selection, unsurprisingly, even if I do prefer pan & movement!

Re: British Time Trial Championships

Thanks. I'll have a look Dave. Just processing orders at the moment Had 8 so far, so am really pleased.
Most shots are downstairs on the laptop, but looking at a couple I'm printing, they are all around f2.8 - 3.5, ISO 800 and shutter dependent on cloud at the time around 1/500 downwards to about 1/320.
Will be a bit more accurate tomorrow.

Re: British Time Trial Championships

Another good set Whipspeed
I had to look again at the wonky one, at first glance I thought it was just a steeper hill!

Re: British Time Trial Championships

I got some of mine the other way round & had cyclists looking like they were belting down a steep hill

Do you keep "IS" off on your 70-200 for these shots Sarah ?

Re: British Time Trial Championships

Didn't buy the IS version Dave. I think I've said, but a journalist at the velodrome told me not to use the IS for cycling as it slowed the focus down too much (I had the f4 IS version at the time) and when I tried shots with and without IS the shots without were much better, clear focus and no blut, so when I upgraded I went for the non IS.

Mean't to ask as well Dave, did you get any insect bites sitting on the verge. I was covered in them the next day!
