Re: Bush Pig Falls
I love this sort of picture and this is a very good example. I like the warm tones of the rocks a lot
To be really picky there are some small green spots at the top left and top centre that, once I had noticed them, I found really distracting. I would have cloned these out. I cannot make up my mind about the large green leaf at the bottom. Should it stay or should it go ?. I will be interested to read what others think. Now I have a camera that will take long exposures I want to have a go at this as soon as I can. So many pictures out there waiting to be taken and me stuck here with emails

Re: Bush Pig Falls
This is undoubtedly a god picture! But to me the water in this shot,as with most waterfall shots, does not convey the sparkle flow and life of fast moving water,it tends to have the look of a slugish movibg sugar syrup.i wish i knew how to overcome this.

Re: Bush Pig Falls
thanks all
AQ, small spots are leafs . For me its a tough call.Sometimes I think its natural, its there leave it, other times it does look better cloned out. If you just got long exposure on your camera you going to have some serious fun , enjoy Silstone lol, no political connotation here, no pretty simple I've seen a few bush pigs near these falls Foxesbrew I know what you mean, I call it milky look. I suppose a faster shutter speed will reduce this look, I have a few I will post. But i agree it can become overdone |

Re: Bush Pig Falls
I love this one B. It has a terrific sense of contrast between the softness of the water and the rich colours and sharpness of the hard rocks. I know we see a lot of this kind of shot, I have done a fair few myself, but this is an extremely good example of the genre.
Very nicely done ![]() Cheers Rob |
