Very nice set. Like them all but the sunrise looks good.

Would have thought that at sunrise the angle of the Sun would have been lower, though?

re: Butterfly, beetle, burnet, bunny and sunlight

Just had the same comment from Mark

Yes, it should have been called "Sunshine" as it was just after 7.30am, but in my defence, I was chucked out of bed at sunrise, so I'm claiming senility and disorientation

Thanks Jack, temperatures were cool on both those shots, 4400 & 4550.

I had thought the beetle was a jewel beetle, but not so sure now, having looked it up! Anyone else know?

Thanks Steve & Marcin. The sigma was used for the first four shots - have now edited to show details - and the last was the zoom lens.

Jack - I did go back and 'warm up' the temperatures in both photographs, but wasn't very happy with the outcome.

Not too shabby
and I can (now) say confidentally that #4's suffering ISO400ism (which I get occasionally and seems to be a WB/saturation problem and I never seem to be able to correct the colour cast properly )

A few seconds later, another burnet arrived and, although they settled pretty quickly, they weren't really staying still long enough to get a decent shot, so I left them to it!
