Can't see the wood for the trees.
Didn't get a chance to go out in the snow yesterday, because I work for the highways dept at the county council, so we were organising snow clearing etc. Got out at lunch time today to the local woods. Here's hoping for some good weather for the weekend.

Thank you ladies, much appreciated. It made a change walking in these woods with a covering of snow, as it totaly changed the landscape and familiar areas took on a new appearance.

I like this Steve, it's got powerful abstract lines and draws you into itself to look more and more. I might up the contrast a shade but other that I love it. I think the subtle range of tones in the bark of the trunks is useful here because of the amount of white so I am not overkeen to see a mono version, it works just fine as it is

Re: Can't see the wood for the trees.
Thanks all, Rob I agree about the mono, I gave it a try but it did not really work.
