Canon EOS 40D first macro examples

Nothing really exciting today but I was trying my new camera yestarday on flowers. ISO 400 and no sign of noice (for me it's something new ) and details are amazing for me - you could see structure on those flowers petals.

Nice pics.

I agree that this Canon + macro lens is a very good combination. Lots of good detail to be had from them. I assume that you are still going to keep your other rig for the highmagnification macros that you do.

Anthraquinone i don't need to keep my fuji - i could still use Raynox DCR-250 with canon macro lens for microscopic objects. besides with canon picture quality i could crop small object and it'll be still very good. and last thing - this canon lens is good enough for taking photos of really small flies or spiders or whatever i need.

Re: Canon EOS 40D first macro examples

Some nice shots from the new toys. I must say the noise level at ISO400 on the 40D looks very good, much better than my 10D which is next to useless above ISO200 for noise levels.

Very tempting, though I wonder when the 50D is coming out....
