Cemetery in the mist

I pass this place every day, often seeing the morning sun shine through the leaves on the trees or the mist and fog covering the grave stones and, often thought of going with the camera some day. Wednesday was a very foggy morning and having the day off, I thought I’d see what the cemetery had to offer. These are a few from that morning.

I really like all of those, especially #2 & #5... they look really eerie and spooky!

Number two would've won the Black & White competition hands down I reckon. Certainly would've got my vote. Lovely.

All processed in much the same way, I have tried processing withought the levels adjustment and instead used curves. Then shadow and highlight converted to B/W using chanel mixer, adding selective colour black +1 and neutral +2 or +3 if needed. Then only on the first pic, I adjusted the brightness and contrast. The last pic was more shadow and highlight than anything else. No specific ammounts just play until looks okay....to me anyway
Thanks again all.

I like No3, it's a lonely place anyway but the single grave removed from the others just seems to have an extra quality to me, nice one

I was going to title that "away from the crowd" or "Noisy neighbours"
I like no1 and felt for sure one of you would have thought the shape under the tree looked like the grim reaper or something.

Being honest.....There was a little cloning in a couple of the shots and although there were no graves either side of those two, there were a few in front....but still possible and will have a look if I ever go back (and I remember).
Hope you don't mind but would just like to hear what anyone thought of the colour version of these two shots compared to the B/W.
I think maybe in this shot I have brought the two head stones out from the mist a little too much?

Comments welcome.
Thanks again.
Ken.
