Charlie Whippet
My friends latest show puppy, this is Charlie, he's 10 months old and has qualified for Crufts next year. I went up to visit on Friday and walk on the beach up in Lincolnshire with Charlie and my 3 oldies. We had great fun, my 3 really enjoyed playing with him and every other dog they met on the beach. We were out for a couple of hours & they then did what whippets do best and slept all afternoon.
Even my poorly whippet Mossie (the oldie with the heart problem) kept going for the whole walk, running and having great fun, she did slow down at the end, but not bad for a dog we thought we'd lose just over a month ago, the beta blockers are really working well. Re: Charlie
Thank you Mossie looks good in that one, considering she is 10 years old to his 10 months.

Re: Charlie
Thanks Angela, perhaps not so sharp as the 1st 2, but I did like the angle. 110 shots & 10 that are ok

Re: Charlie
Yup, I sort of like the first, really like the 2nd and love the 3rd
Nopwt wrong with the first, it's sharp and clear. But the second captures them both in acvtion really nciely and the 3rd has a terrific angle. The sharpness doesn't matter as it is all about action in that shot.Great work Sarah. Cheers, Rob |

Re: Charlie
Great little trio of shots! 2nd's gotta be the fav, if only to see Mossie enjoying life to the full!
Great comp on 3rd but could do with a kick up the levels! ![]() |

Re: Charlie
Super shots, great to see the Whippies having so much fun on the beach.
The 2nd one is my favourite, I love to see the oldies having a whale of a time. |

Re: Charlie
The first two are nice and sharp, and the second is a good shot, but for posing and literal 'capturing' the last one is head and shoulders above. Fantastic, and with a bit o USM maybe we wont even notice the slight dull edge

Re: Charlie
Thanks for your comments.
Angela, I set to ISO 200 and apeture priority at f6.3, which was giving a shutter of about 1/500. I also did some on Shutter priority at 1/640, again at ISO 200 to keep the grain down. |
