Chips and cards

I got a bit fed up with the tv so went and had a play plus I made a couple of soft light filters.

In good old Blue Peter style....
Take one medium cereal box.
Cut out the two largest sides.
Make a square opening in both sides. (size is up to you)
Use a peace of white kitchen paper and either stick or staple the kitchen paper over the opening on both frames.
Attach to your lamp(s)
Then try them out....

As always your comments and thoughts are most warmly welcomed, many thanks for taking the time to look

Re: Chips and cards

How much did you lose then Dave? Lovely focusing and the lighting is very good so all those years watching Blue Peter were not wasted after all!

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Chips and cards

Love the lighting and the depth of field - first shot is great, but the shots with the poker chips seem too tightly cropped/framed to me...

Re: Chips and cards

My only thoughts are that perhaps the cards would have looked better on the black or green background? I would like no. 2 as well but the out of focus chips in the front are drawing my eye and spoiling th shot slightly.

All in all though, what a great set of shots! Nothing like a bit of card and sellotape in this high-tech world!!

Re: Chips and cards

some very good shots there, I think the darker background is more suited to this type of subject.
