the top of the hill must be at 1000 meters high .. brouillard in french maybe fog in english

you tried playing with post processing on this? its a nice shot, but its lacking something?

I don't know what to do whit is .. i've just added a bit contrast .. too much will kill this feeling of nearlly nothing

I think the only problem with this is that the cloud/fog is covering just a little to much of the top of the mountain. For it to work it would have to have more mountain showing and allow us to see some of that detail, it would then give us the impact that you where aiming at.
Its a good effort but it appears that Mother Nature was not being too kind on this occation. Like the others have already said, if you wish to work at this image to get the best from it, do a black and white convertion and adjust the levels. It may also be possible to increase its impact if you do a tight crop on the section of the mountain that is peeping through the clouds. Make sure it does still retain its "through the clouds" feel but give us a focal point and some detail. Hope that helps. |
