[Anto Modded]

I find the dog a handy subject to practice on with my camera. So here is a few shots i took today.

Thanks, i must get rid of the borders. I was practicing the boarders thing. Need to make something more appealing

Normally I hate borders but these don't bother me. Black and white suits the collie

#1 its a shame the whole face isn't in focus

#2 is a nice sharp pic but a cleaner background might have helped - kneeling or even lying down to snap against the sky for instance.

#3 is overexposed

#4 I think is the best of the bunch. Nice pose, exposure is better and the catchlights are nicer too.

In the old days of film you'd expose for the white and hope it worked, these days I'd play with curves and possibly set up a layer mask to combine adjusted whites and blacks for best effect. I'd also saturate this image somewhat to make the best of the greens in the background.

I thought the background was a little too cluttered, as well. Next time wipe the sleep from her eyes. She has such beautiful soulful eyes and I was distracted by the goop. I really liked your poses and your subject sure knows how to make the best of it for the camera.
