Couple of B&W

Thought I would have another try doing some B&W edits.

C&C as ever always appreciated.

Like the first one a lot,almost an infra-red [?] feel to it and a nice,well balanced composition.On the second I am looking for something to latch onto,the tree from the first shot perhaps,and I am not sure the light grass works here.Maybe if the foreground was toned down and some separation using 'selective colour' tool on the yellows and greens?.Thats assuming its a colour file of course.

I know what you mean re the second one water.....I have tried different edits on the foreground and wasn't too sure as to if the light grass would work or not

the 1st shot for me works better...good composition. Sky on both is very good. Agree with Water about the FG on the 2nd.

Still I would be pleased if they were mine!!

I like the first better because of the composition. The strong diagonals add a ton of interest.
