I think there is something wrong with your compression settings

1st one looks like you had the lens on a phone cam

Be interested to see a 160k version instead of a 12k one. I'm still dithering between the Sigma 10-20 and the Tokina 12-24

Ummm... Bit Pixelly, methinks.
For this sort of thing, you need to post a link to a large-res image, otherwise there's no point - we can't see how good the lens is from a JPEG compression like that...
