A couple from the Zoo

I had a day at Marwell Zoo at the weekend.... it was a glorious day, the sun was shining brightly, hence the harsh light and shadows that I've struggled to sort out on these shots...
Any suggestions on how to deal with this problem?

These are tiny files Cheryl, and your pics are suffering for it. You're allowed up to 160kb.

Right... another try to see if the image is any bigger now... (have uploaded straight from Photobucket as the gallery here seems to be re-sizing my images and making them smaller)

It was taken with a 70-300mm lens, at 300mm (I think!)
