Re: Cressage Bridge
This is an intriguing shot Warren and one I can't quite make my mind up on. I love from the top of the trees downwards, it has a gentle yet cold feel to it that looks very appopriate. I think it's just that the burnt out brightness of the sun (I am assuming that despite the darkness this was taken during the day and is strongly under-exposed because of the sun) is a bit over-powering and is suppressing the rest of the picture which has a lot more detail in it than it first appears.
I'll be interested to see what other people think. Don't get me wrong, i do like it, I am just not sure about that bright area. Cheers, Rob

Re: Cressage Bridge
I just refreshed and saw your reply Rob, I've spent the last few mins looking at it and like you couldnt quite decide. I do agree though I think its the sun overpowering the rest of the shot, and that is making some of the lower 1/2 seem darker than it is?

Re: Cressage Bridge
Hi Rob, yes you gussed right it was taken during the day and i totally agree with you that the sun is overpowering (that was one of the reasons i processed it as i did as it was so burnt out).
Any sugesstions on how i could tone down the burnt out bits would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: Cressage Bridge
I would really welcome any suggestions anyone has on how i can improve this image. As both Rob & Summer have said the burnt out sun needs attention as it is overpowering the rest of the image.
Cheers Warren |
