Cromer

Thanks to everyone who suggested ideas for locations during my holiday in Cromer last week. We must have put the Pixalo curse on the weather as it didn't stop raining from the day we arrived, until we left last Thursday . Anyway, I tried my best (without getting the camera soaked)... here they are.

Re: Cromer

I have to agree, under the circumstances you have done a great job with these

I might have cropped the windsurfer to place him more on the right third though

I agree with what's been said - a very nice set. #4 for me, but I like #3 too.

Re: Cromer

Sorry to hear it rained, but I think it helped (rain/cloudy) on two of these pictures you posted. It added to the story of the pictures. I would love to see the last posting with sunshine. It looks like a beautiful place. You did a fine job.

Re: Cromer

The weather sure looks pretty grim, such a shame for your holiday.
But a good set of images all the same!

No.2 for me without a doubt
It does look a little 'misty' but assume that's the fine rain and drizzle!

Re: Cromer

Hey, with all these exotic foreign business trips, you've seen enough sun . BTW, did you know overcast days are perfect for Mono shooting as the lack of contrast due to bright light, can allow the texture to "shine" through

after 9 weeks in Romania this year so far, and another 3 in the next couple of months its starting to wear a bit thin (same flights / airports / hotels / taxi drivers !!). Its a shame we've moved manufacturing back to Europe as previous trips were to Japan / Philippines / Indonesia....

It does make you appreciated what great scenery we have on our doorstep though, shame the weather doesn't always play ball.

I took #2 with mono in the back of my mind, there was not much colour that day anyway. (mono or landscapes for that matter are not my strong point)
