Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures. My favorite is No 3. It has lots of depth and I love the way you have captured the water without any blocking of the high lights.

Re: Doagh Island,Inishowen,Donegal.
Nope I havent had a chance to go there yet; it looks like it will be the summer before i have enough free time to head up there! The donegal rally is on the end of June so i would be tempted to take a few days before it and visit a few spots! I'd love to get around Galway aswell.

Re: Doagh Island,Inishowen,Donegal.
All these are really nice shots
, but I think all except the flower could do with a kick up the *rse for contrast, just to make them snap. I quite like contrast (although would never compromise image quality), perhaps others will disagree. EDIT: Actually not #1 either

Re: Doagh Island,Inishowen,Donegal.
Very nice shots simpbow
The BG of #4 is a bit distracting being so saturated; you could try selectively applying saturation to just the flower instead of the whole image so that the BG is not made quite so prominent. Anyway, it's a lovely image. |

Re: Doagh Island,Inishowen,Donegal.
All are wonderful, good job
![]() I would have to pick the first as my favourite though as I like low angles up cliffs/rocks. Then number three really captures my attention because the subtle lighting of the sky and the water gives it a real sense of seclusion and a kind of surreal serenity. If I had to pick a least favourite it would be number four because even though it's a good photo it just lacks any real impact like the others. |
