Re: Does this work??

Perfect subject for Mono conversion due to different textures in the grass & the tree is place perfectly in the shot. Sky is bland so possibly drop a grad in there before converting to tones ? .

Did you have a slow shutter speed to capture moveemtn in grasses, or is this some effect you have added ?

Narrow depth of field, and the blurring part of the effect used added to that "movement" look. Dropping in a grad, im sorry to say, is something I need explained. Photoshop isnt my forte. Yet.

Re: Does this work??

Ref Grad, equivalent of adding a gradient filter when taking shot. I'm ordering a new PC today, so when through I will create a Video Tutorial on applying Grads. You can see the effect on most of the plane shots I took recently. Just an easy way to add some drama to a shot when sky is plain.
