You're right, it's definitely a door.
I like the light effect and the texture in the paint gives it some character. I prefer the colour version as it basically is monochrome but with that lovely brass handle to add interest. cheers Dan |

I prefer pic 2, has that spooky old film feel about it and easier on the eye IMO.

Gotta be No 1 but I'd lift the exposure one stop to make it a touch lighter. This will make it much like the 2nd but with the coloured handle, the rest is all mono anyway so not really worth converting IMO.
I think if you just played with the levels using Curves with No 1, you'd get something close to No 2 but with the handle coloured to give it a focal point. Cheers, Rob |
