Dragonflies at Cosmeston
Popped across to Cosmeston Country Park last weekend when we were staying in Cardiff and finally managed to get a shot of a flying dragonfly that I'm pretty happy with (after a number of attempts).
Emperor Dragonfly : Anax imperator ![]() Common Darter : Sympetrum striolatum ![]() As usual any constructive criticism welcome. cheers Dan |

Re: Dragonflies at Cosmeston
Love the first, not because it is particularly a stunning shot (its very good though) but because you have caught it in flight, facing forwards and with the wings in the classic formation. Being so small and relatively fast, you have done a great job with that.
The second is a great shot as well |

Re: Dragonflies at Cosmeston
That's the best one of about 20 shots, 17 of them were unusable and the other two needed too much cropping. So no magic, or real skill just throw enough balls and sooner or later you're gonna hit a coconut.
cheers Dan |
