Random shot from work this evening. Was just walking back from my break and this doorway caught my eye so I took a pic. Not sure why it pleases me but it does.

Heh.

I keep seeing areas that would make a nice background for shots of people. But I have no-one to shoot. I have a mate who does a lot of hip-hop photography (groups, MCs, DJs) and I think I've been influenced by his choice of backgrounds... Just wish I had someone to take pics of.

It's Studio 4 at BBC Television centre.

I think. Maybe Studio 5.

Yeah. It's got quite a lot of detail but the colours stop it looking too busy.

Ah... the frustration of it all. Talk to people, friends, work colleagues, anyone you think is mildly interesting or photogenic, tell them what you're trying to do - promise them a pic or two, you might be surprised how co-operative they can be.

Well I've been meaning to go out with my aforementioned friend for ages (tagging along as an apprentice, kinda thing) so when that happens I guess I can get him to stand in the shots.
