The Early Bird.........
........ catches the fish
![]() Canon 350D, Canon 100-400mm IS, 1.4x TC, monopod Wandered over to Cosmeston Lakes Country Park (missed sunrise..... but it was rubbish anyway. Honest!) Wheeeee....... Swan executing a perfect slide landing ![]() Canon 350D, Canon 100-400mm IS, 1.4x TC, monopod Perfect Pose Actually, squizzer was trying to work out how to get home - which was the other side from me! ![]() Canon 350D, Canon 100-400mm IS, 1.4x TC, monopod Big Feet Just love Coots ('bald as a' derives from them!) for their enormous feet - and the water's making them even bigger! ![]() Canon 350D, Canon 100-400mm IS, 1.4x TC, monopod Hang The Emperor This Emperor dragonfly was very patient with me - I even got a 9 shot pano of this pose which I'll get around to processing sometime but is looking good ![]() Sigma SD10, Sigma 105mm macro, tripod Comments of good, bad, indifferent all welcome! ![]() TFL!

Was ISO100. Ironically, had not long gone from 400 to 100 as I moved out of trees and morning had brightened. Sadly, didn't have the time to shift ISOs (and no, wouldn't have helped with a 40D and Auto ISO as I would NEVER switch that on! Hate 'best guess' Auto for anything as usually wrong, I've found, for where it really counts!)
Edit: Soz, should explain further: image was very dark and noise has come from 'pushing' the image (which seems way worse than when I 'push' Sigma, surprisingly) Last edited by Markulous; 08-09-2007 at 10:45. Reason: Added info |
