Early On A Norfolk Beach

I am not sure about this. Is it unbalanced, RHS darker than LHS? I like it anyway but I would appreciate other peoples views, good or bad. It was taken early morning on the beach at Mundesley in Norfolk. Originally it was in colour before being posterised and then converted to B&W.

Hi John ... I like it too!! The heavier right hand side doesn't bother me, but the very obvious posterisation of the sky as opposed to the rest of the image does though.

I'd also try a .6° clockwise rotation too .......

I've prolly been to that beach (long ago), my brother used to live in Mundesley

Posterized sky does kinda spoil the image, + the whole image needs brightening up. If you lightened the dark patch in the bottom RH corner, the tones would look fairly balanced, i.e. the dark RHS is fine, + is also balanced to some extent by the birds on the LHS.

Agree with Cathie's suggested rotation.

I think this one's got potential , John

Thank you all for your comments especially the posterisation of the sky. I went back to produce another version without the posterisation and guess what, I have not saved the original version. That's another lesson for me. Thanks again, your crits. are appreciated.
