Re: Echo Arena Liverpool

Looks pretty good to me!

In populated areas I always take a tripod - holding the camera being the secondary useage!

INSURANCE!!! No, really - I do hope you've insured your photo kit with a reputable, professional photographic insurance agent. I quite often shoot in 'dodgy' areas and wouldn't dream of having my kit in some of those places if I wasn't insured.

I'd have shot this at either ISO 4000 or 5000 and thus done away with the need for VR... the D3's that I've tested produce very good results right up to ISO 6400 with clear rendition of details and good contrast / dynamic range. Don't be afraid to push the envelope with this camera.

Re: Echo Arena Liverpool

your right, i done quite a few on 6400 and they are amazing, the camera store were i bought it are having a annual trade show there at the end of month, so im getting a range of different images on different setting, as they want to show some images from the D3, got it insured yesterday got £10,000 on my whole kit, which just covers it, F5, D200, D3 plus lens flash bla bla bla, plus my studio light kit too.
