Egyptian Goose

Taken at Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire. The camera was hand held and fitted with a 400 mm lens (I think.) It is taken from less than 1/4 of the full frame so perhaps it could be sharper. I didn't want to overdo the U.M. Comments welcome good or bad, constructive crit. especially welcome.

John

Re: Egyptian Goose

It does to me too perhaps a bit of haloing from the USM but a good shot and the colour is excellent.

Re: Egyptian Goose

Yup, looks good from here.

Be interested as to why you cropped in as I wonder how it'd look with more body

Thank you for commenting.
I cropped in because I was trying to give more prominence to the ripple.

Thanks for your comment. I do find it difficult to know when to stop sharpening, it is so easy to overdo it. I did purchase the Photokit sharpening program and it helped a lot. then I changed from Windows PC to Mac OSX and of course that program along with others no longer work. I may buy parallels when I can afford it.
