EIFF 2008: Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller
I was fortunate enough to get exclusive access to the opening night after-party for the 2008 Edinburgh Film Festival... this gem of a shot (if I do say so myself) is one of the highlights from the indoor arrivals I was allowed to shoot.
 D3 at 1/200 sec at f/4 and ISO 800 at 55mm using the 24-70mm lens. Lighting is one remote SB-800 fired camera left at 1/8 power, the other SB-800 was mounted on-camera but with the head rotated to the right and up at a 45 degree angle to provide off-the-wall bounce flash to fill in the shadows. |

 Very nice shot there.. but having seen some examples of your work on here i wouldnt expect anything less!  What I appreciate is the description as to what you did and how you set up the shot!  As an inexperienced tog (read: a VErY inexperienced tog) its things like that that really help me! Rep points about to be added, and if i ever bump into you, i'll let you buy me a beer!!!

You seem to always produce high quality portraits, no matter the circumstances Ms. Miller's eye's does seem a bit oof, but as Dave said it might just be the ©. |
