.................sorry it’s just a little rain dear!!!!!!!!!!

In fact it was quite a lot of rain, why - because this was when I went into the Yorkshire Dales and it always rains when I go there!
However it does have it’s good side, the waterfalls look great.
This is the lower waterfall at Aysgarth



The falls at High Force in Teesdale were also going at full force.



I’m always attracted to turbulent water



Still raining but I stopped for this waterfall at the edge of the road.



The animals don’t think much to the conditions neither.



But for one brief moment whilst I was walking along the river from High Force to the lower falls the sun shone and some Red Admiral butterflys posed for me.





When the sun does shine The Dales are a beautiful place to be.



Just for a laugh the Tour of Britain Cycle Race came to town on Thursday when it was one of the darkest miserable days you can imagine but I did wonder if this guy was a “domestique” (cycling joke!)



Well that's enough for now I'll have to go and get a cold drink (to put my typing finger in to cool it down

Great set Jake! - I like #2 but think the sky has blown out a little which is a shame other than that its a great shot, #2, #4 and #5 for me....I wonder how the shot of the horse would look as a mono?

Yes there was a lot of water that day, the noise was deafening.
