The first has "http://http://" at the beginning - it should only have "http://thu...."
Cant really comment as it looks like your linking to thumbnails rather than the bigger pics. |

Use the picture of the mountains icon and insert the URL into that.

You're right, it will link to the images if you copy and paste into your address bar but not if you click the link from this page.
