Well my nice new 30D has been here for a couple of weeks now and thought i'd share a few shots i've taken over the last few days.

Any comments welcome.

All of them are very good but the first one has a simplicity and scale that makes it really appealing for me. I could look at that shot for hours

#1 like Steve says works so well
#2 Good use of DOF & composition works well with the lines on near thirds
#3 Lovely surreal feel to the shot. Possibly crop the sky to get the horizon on the 1/3 line.
#4 Like the mist in the background. Can't make my mind up if branch in top right should be cloned out or not. If sky was stronger I definetely say yes, but at the moment it might be too large an expanse with nothing. What doe others think ?
#5 Perfect.

I notice you haven't got your "edit" box ticked to allow others to edit. If allowed I would love to do a Mono conversion of no #5, as the sky is just calling me. No probs if not, as it's a photographers perogative
