First attempt at photographing fireworks (6images 440kb total)
Took the camera along to the fireworks on Sunday night and came away with these. There not particularly sharp, as I couldn't use my tripod (three 5 year olds in tow !!). Taken in RAW, shutter speed between 1-3 secs.

I surely do like the one with meteor written on it.
Well done indeed. |

Re: First attempt at photographing fireworks (6images 440kb total)
Very good Ian especially since no tripod. I also like the Meteor shot but think the third shot is the strongest from the fireworks. I would incresed the saturation a touch for the whole shot and then increase just the blues to make those fireworks balance more with the more obvious yellow/whites.

For handheld I think they are excellent with number three the best imo.

Great stuff!
Especially for handheld! That #3 for me - especially with the crowd just visible |
