First attempt at street
Took the camera out on the streets of London today trying to get some candid street stuff. It was my first real outing and I think I've got a lot to learn (getting closer, for one) but I did manage to witness a fight and wander into a Latin American march in aid of Jean Charles de Menezes. Here's the pics:

I like numbers 5 and 7, 7 works well in B&W with the guy on the right watching on smiling/laughing at the other two lol

No 7 is a good 'un - opportunistic and capturing all the action complete with bystander laughing. I'd be tempted to crop the pic so the area to the right of the guy on the left was gone.

Nope definately fighting. The first picture of them, the guy on the left is clearly pleading his case with the officer, pointing to the woman on the right. The second one she is pulling something from him I think.
I *think* that the two pictures of them are in reverse order (timewise). The copper turning up in the first one is nowhere to be seen in the second, and also the group of staff that has convened in the first one, has disappeared in the second (B&W) shot. |

Yeah they're out of chronological order.
They were fighting over the bag, I think. It was the woman that called the officer over. Went on for about two minutes before the police came. |

Straighten and make portrait + crop to the people the first one. I would like to see what it looks like.
Maybe in B&W too. |

As for the straighten/portrait idea... Feel free to have a stab if you like but I prefer the depth in the way it is now. It's nowhere near sharp enough to work as a portrait IMO. |

Still prefer the original but feel free to experiment. Not got any links to hi-res ones handy at the mo. If I get time, and the demand's there, I'll do some tomorrow.
