First edit using a Graphic Tablet
Wasn't sure where to show this one so I have put it in here
I wanted to have a play with my new Graphic Tablet so picked this picture that was a little flat and had suffered from flare.

Re: First edit using a Graphic Tablet
Cheers Cotter.
I will have to do a review regarding the tablet when I have used it a little longer First impressions are good even though I did keep wanting to grab hold of the mouse to edit. I would say the image has had more work on it than I would normally want to do but I might just print this one off and put it on my wall .

Re: First edit using a Graphic Tablet
Have you sussed the pressure sensitive effect with brushes ? I just couldn't suss it when doing layer masks etc with my Wacom tablet & ended up reverting to mouse. Other than that , found it great for detailed work.

Re: First edit using a Graphic Tablet
It was a little strange when it came to using the brushes........I was afraid to press on too much in case I damaged it.

Re: First edit using a Graphic Tablet
Some interesting work here, well done P-E. If I might just reply to a comment regarding the use of brushes with a graphics pen: Until you get used to using the pen, I would turn off the pen pressure mode and use it so that you know whatever size you have selected, that is the area that will be affected.
Always use a soft brush so that you don't get any obvious tell-tale signs of brush work. Once you get used to it, turn the pressure sensitivity on and start to get used to the way it works. You will actually find a lot of the benefits of using a graphics pen for photo editing actually work better without the sensitivity turned on, certainly in the early days. Hope that helps. Cheers, Rob
