First Nifty Shots
Well I could not go too long before exposing the the Nifty to the air! On Saturday morning I went into the garden looking for a subject. I thought an inanimate object would be best for starters, but the Wife did not want to be photographed. So, in desperation, I turned to the plant life. These could not be described as inanimate as they were blowing in the wind, so after taking a few pills to stop that, I shot some flowers. Sadly the ones that showed the nifty's qualities were pretty awful in photographcs terms, and the better shots could have come from any lens.
I was saved on Sunday by a visit from my favourite subject. Only thing was trying to keep him still for a second or two! ![]() ![]()

Re: First Nifty Shots
Fantastic! Very nice, looks like it would cope well! Maybe not as well as the Tamron 90mm, which I should have by now, except onestop were out of stock so I have to wait 2-3 weeks

Re: First Nifty Shots
Graham, you are saving your shots with an RGB profile instead of SRGB, which means your losing some of the punch you are seeing on your PhotoShop screen. Also make sure you pull the left pointer in to start of graph on "levels" screen
