I'll bet your pleased with them. They are really crisp and colours a so well saturated. I will look forward to seeing some of you landscapes and bird shots in the not to distant future.

Fi, I am delighted you are now a genuine paid up member of the Canon Club :o) Looking at these you must be delighted with the results you're getting already! These are beautiful and sharp with plenty of colour richness (ok, not in the last one but you know what i mean!) which shows the difference between a DSLR and a prosumer camera.

Don't get me wrong, I am not dissing prosumers, I have got one in my bag along with my 20D, but the fact is having a larger sensor, better lens and excellent internal processor really does make a huge difference.

Looking forward to seeing more of your experiments.... of which I am certain there will be plenty :o)

What is the new camera/lens and what were you using before,if you don't mind me asking?

I was using a Fuji 9500 which is a bridge camera with a fixed lens of 28 - 300mm. Will still be using it until i can get the funds to get lenses to match the range the fuji gave me...which will be a while! lol
the new camera i have is the canon 400D just have the kit lens at the moment which is 18 - 55mm

I know loads of people have said this, but to get the range back, really look into buying the Sigma 70-300 APO, great value for money!
