took a run out to Carnlough harbour and found a waterfall i never knew existed!! Tourists walking on the woodedn bridge didnt help the steady hand too much (tripod was 1.5km away)

it was my first time taking shots of a waterfall so i dont know how good it is, i picked out 1 shot of it for sharing anyway!

Very nice, i stopped there for an icecream when we came over for the NW200 in 2003 and did the ride from Larne to Cushendall another place i liked was Balintoy Harbour near the Giants causeway

thanks people! yea i couldnt believe the weather if i had known it was to be good i wouldn't have slept in till 12 lol it is meant to be worse weather the rest of the week though. Going up to portrush tomorrow to see if theres much about!

@ Gary - theres niot much more than an icecream shop there lol nice place though!

i would have loved to have a wider angle for the harbour, i will post more shots of it tomorrow!

The thing I keep reminding myself when I am somewhere and don't have a wide angle, is make a panorama. I know it's not the same really, but it helps a lot if you want to get a feel for the place. I never remember to do it, except on rare occasions, cos I'm always thinking about the images that are on the camera, rather than what they could become, but it's worth bearing in mind!

thanks for the comments! number 3 would be my favourite aswell, its the current desktop background!

Jack i did try to make a pan but i failed miserably!! lol well the only one that worked ok were 2 portrait photos, i'll post it up if you want!
