Glad some of you guys agree it looks like a useful 'tool' for the kit bag!. I think I read /heard that this method will give a better 'quality' of mono print [rather than a straight black and white] on less sophisticated printers?.Only one way to find out so I must select a suitable full sized photo file and see what happens
PS.just for the record,this tone was using Black and Mauve.

Nice shot and the processing works.

For those of you with Lightroom Duotone effects are really easy just switch to Monotone and then use the Split Toning Panel. The split toning panel can also introduce some interesting effects on full colour images, worth a fiddle when you've nothing better to do.
