Been converting my recent shots in Musselburgh to Mono but thought I'd throw in a colour one.I used Robs' tutorial for resizing [lord knows why it took me so long to get round to using this method] :

There's a mid-ground and a background but the pic lacks much of a foreground, which is a shame as there's some super detail in the mud, particularly on the right hand side. Some of the boats just need to be closer. You could do with cleaning your sensor, though I usually leave this till the specks are in double digits

You may be right re composition,let me think about it!!.You mention the sensor.I take it the small,darker,circles mean crap on the sensor?.I cloned out three but have noticed another one in the sky on the left side.Or are you seeing other things as well that I am missing?[the speck dead centre above the harbour wall is actually a seagull].

Edit: on looking a bit closer I spotted another 3 circles,Arghhhhhhhhhh.Must be more observant.Can I assume these circles will appear in the same place in the frame?.

Yeah - and I spotted the gull too!
I've just cleaned my monitor and now can't see them, so ignore me, and forget whatever you imagined you'd seen! It was just me sneezing on my screen I guess

No,I have spotted another 3 'circles'.Maybe need Sherlock Holmes and his trusty magnifying glass,The case of the appearing/disappearing specks/circles
