Navy were obviously running short of provisions, so sent for food parcels from the local supermarket! No helipad, so the car park had to do!

Caught this with my mobile early on Sat morning

I hope they don't need much. With crew, there can't be a whole lot of room in that bird.

Enough for a couple of barrels of rum (as we know that's all the Navy drinks!) swinging underneath!

Tho' I almost grabbed it, mistaking it for a shopping trolley with them rinky dink wheels - and didn't have to put a £ to use it!

(for them that don't know, you have to insert a £ coin to unchain Morrisons shopping trolleys - which you get back when you chain it back up at the end)

I see he's adopted the BMW/Merc method of parking in spaces.

ie: taking up as many as is possible....

I'd park my car right next to it so he couldn't get in !! lol

Why hasn't the NCP bloke clamped him? Noting that windscreen cover, he's obviously been there longer than the prescribed shopping times now used on some supermarket car parks.

LOL, Les! Or parked in the 'Mother and Child' spaces - tho' then they would have to have one of them dire 'Baby on Board' stickers. Grrrr! Don't get me going on them!

They're probably still trying to figure out how you clamp it!

Reminds me of my brother (very distantly related to me - you'll see why) when he lived in Redditch (for which I'll sympathise big time to anyone who has to live there!).

They had only a few parking spaces and someone parked across two of them. Typical of my brother he just had to leave a note on the windscreen: "Just think, if you owned a Rolls Royce you could take up 3 whole spaces instead of just the two".

Luckily for my brother the guy had a sense of humour, seeing as he came knocking on the door - seems brother had written on the back of a used envelope! Doh!
