Gandhi and Fingerz Inspired Cliche shots

After reading recent posts on this subject, I thought I would try again, but this time with water, Milk, and Cranberry Juice, oh and a touch of wine (which did not go to waste) ..... Cheers for the idea's guys.

I've also incuding two images of the set up used to take the following photos

Hope you like them, and of course I welcome all comments, be they good or bad.

Milk: (went for highlight background instead of black)

Adjustable height, wide level flat surface, light-weight .... can't think of any other use for it, lol

How may exposures did you take?

Mine was 200 ish.

Probably got around 70 good ones!

I took about 300, and get back about 50 (there was a fair bit of trial and error)

I got lots of almost the same picture, but I guess thats where the skill is, in the timing

The 3rd milk shot is my favourite too

By the way, what's with the super-heavy JPEG compression? The artifacting is really noticable in them.

I did.. back in 2003 with the Oly 5050. wasn't up to the job though. Will have to try again now I have the tools

Excellent showing - thanks for sharing ! I particularly like the first one as it is a different take on the theme with good old water !

Your set up is incredibly simple and as we do not use our ironing board ... !

What did you use to drop into the liquids ... just drops of the same ?

What is an "Ironing Board" ??? , are they only available in Cannon Fit or do they have universal fit ??. Would I be able to get one from my local Jessops ?
