Reminds me of Sundays walking the dog in Epping forest. Waiting while she chased squirrels or swam in foul smelling stagnant ponds or dissapeared through thickets of brambles.
Got to know my way around forest paths like yours pretty well over the years. |

I used to take the dogs to High Beach a lot when the boys were small, Robert. Great fun up and down that hill, wore them out (well, it did me anyway!)
And brilliant in the snow too ![]() |

Janice that is beautiful! For once the frame adds to the composition and draws you into this lovely picture. Used to have a practice in Loughton and forest was only 100 yards for home so know the quality of the mud from boys shoes and knees!

A great shot there Janice
I really like the way the eye is lead into the shot by the winding path. I'm looking forward to sunday morning strolls when the pups bigger, at 8 weeks she doesn't move very fast for very long ![]() |

Lovely! I too know Epping Forest well - used to horse-ride around it regularly!
I love the combination of the beautiful warm colours and the slight mistiness off in the distance. |

I like this shot - it has a sort of moody but serene feel to it - if that makes sense!
