Re: Got a tree up?

nope... sorry we dont have a tree. we used to put a huge one up every year but thie house is so much smaller than the flat so unfortunately there is no room to put one up. We have to make do with decorations round the room!
not sure where im gonna put the bairns presents tho!

Re: Got a tree up?

We don't really have room for a tree either, our lounge has 4 doors a large window and a fireplace which doesn't leave much wall space to stand a tree against. Apart from Christmas cards we've not really got anything up this year, I expect my wife will be addressing that today or tomorrow.

Re: Got a tree up?

I live in a small flat so space is at a premium but I'd have some kind of a tree even if I couldn't sit down LOL. But we really have only got a small thing, it is artificial and has fibre optics in it so it changes colours all the time. It's small but gives a lovely cosy Christmassy atmosphere for my wife and I :o)

Sorry I haven't got time to do a picture right now, I have GOT to finish the wrapping!

Cheers and happy Christmas everyone.

Re: Got a tree up?

LOL, thanks Charlotte. And yes, absolutely right as I was making myself and my wife the object and not the subject of the sentence, hence 'My wife and me' rather than 'My wife and I.'

Ok, here are my hundred lines:

'I must not mix up my subjects and objects, especially when Charlotte is watching!'
'I must not mix up my subjects and objects, especially when Charlotte is watching!'
'I must not mix up my subjects and objects, especially when Charlotte is watching!'
'I must not mix up my subjects and objects, especially when Charlotte is watching!'
