Great tit Shot
Sorry about the Title
this is one of the first with my new lens hand held so I know I must get my tripod out lighting was from the back of the bird so exposure was a bit tricky

Re: Great tit Shot
It's a great shot of a tit, what else could you call it Saw?
Really nice, I would prefer just another centimentre to the left and below the bird. Perfectly happy with the space you have left to the right which the bird is looking into and I like the way the branch blurs off as it goes back. One question as I am not an ornithologist so might be making a tit of myself here ( ) but are the legs actually as blue as they are showing here or have they been slightly over-saturated? It could just be reflected light, can't be sure.Anyway, lovely shot, well done ![]() Cheers, Rob

Re: Great tit Shot
What a great image, Sawdust! I like the crop and the clean, minimalist content of the shot. Like some other pictures on here with really sharp subjects and differential focus, the bird is so sharp it almost gives the appearance of being added to the background.
I wonder if a little more background detail (still with blurring) might put the bird more 'in context', if you see what I mean. Well done in getting the exposure and focus on the bird spot-on

Re: Great tit Shot
yes Rob i think a bit to much saturation but had to add a bit as the sun was behind the bird. Dab i have some others with less blur I was still new to the lens so trying all type of settings Thanks all for comments they will help me .
