Re: Green Lane Pit
Markulous those photos are very good. it's not hard to guess that i like no 3 and 5 - for fantastic colours and light. very natural. rest is also interesting. no 4 is great - against the light and still with great details and colours

Re: Green Lane Pit
Many thanks for the comments!
It was the DOF (and a nice green field behind!), Ray. Whilst in theory it's possible to PS a BG, I've found it always leaves traces |

Re: Green Lane Pit
Nice set Mark, what does HH and FF mean? FF always meant full frame to me
![]() As for the shots, I think the cow one is my favourite, cos of how you controlled the exposure to get detail in the sky and the cow. Nice shots |

FF I'll guess at full frame - i.e. not cropped. |

Re: Green Lane Pit
Great shots, love the damselfly. I've not managed to go after them yet this year but I'd be hard pressed to get better than that.

The damsel fly for me. Very nice. I'll be looking out for them myself any time now.

Re: Green Lane Pit
Cheers, all! Appreciate you dropping in and dropping a comment!
![]() As Graham suggests, HH=Handheld, FF=Full Frame (as opposed to Jacks's full size sensor or, when cropped, crop sensor) Get out there, Dan and Lew! |

Re: Green Lane Pit
Brilliant damselfly there, Mark, and I like the snail too. Oh, and the collared dove.... and sheep are always good.
The cows look like they're going to break into a butter commercial. ![]() |
