Happy customer at the takout
 Found a nice sunflower heart at the local takaway  Found a nice bench to sit to eat  Made a good start and pecked out a good section - better come up for air and check the fellow ant the next perch  A popular eat out! You knew I would also be taking birds as well as flowers today! Had my old Sigma 70-300 f3.5-5.6 macro on for a change.

Physically how close are you to the birds when you take these pictures. I'm just not getting the results I want with my 40D and Tamron 18-250  |

About 8ft from the feedet and 10-12ft from the branch - taken at 300mm on the Sigma I had from 35mm days on the 40D I normally use the 2.8 70-200 sigma, but had been taking flowers and this has the macro.
