no problems Skip.. gretna green is in the borders of Scotland. In Scotland you are allowed to get married at 16 without parental consent. In england its 18. So for years and years people used to elope from England to gretna green to get married and they got married in the old blacksmith and this is the traditional anvil people were married over.

Maybe that's why I hate it so much! I know some have had negative experiences of marriage but I also know many more have very positive expereinces of marriage but that doesn't negate your right to express your feelings your way. It sums up how you feel so in that way it works just fine. It is entirely contrary to how I personally feel about marriage which is why I can't relate to it but on this day of all days, I equally detest the 'sugar and hearts' portryal of love that Valentine's Day is all about, created as it was as nothing more than a way of gaining a pecuniary advantage for retailers by making people feel guilty if they should not waste a load of money on expensive cards, chocolates and other trinkets.

My wife and I don't bother with 14th Feb because we have the 20th February as a far more important day, our Wedding Anniversary, to celebrate the best thing I ever did.... got married to my precious Diane
