I think I'm going to like this lens...

Just got a Tamron 90mm macro and yesterday was the first chance I had to try it out. I suppose its a bit too early to find any insects, so took a couple of some leaves.
Shot in .jpg, not cropped, just hit auto-levels, a bit of saturation and TPF resize for web CS2 action. I'm pleased with the results.

I can see why, both shots are very punchy and have a great 3D feel

Its always the same with the weather though, you get a new toy and want to play but mother nature has other ideas

Nice crisp shots there Richard! Now you will have to buy Kay flowers so that you can take some macro shots Looking forward to seeing more shots from your new lenses
