Ice Storm
We had a few large snow storms over the last few weeks and then wrapped it all up with an ice storm. We lost power for a few days. Between shoveling, leaks, and stoking fires I didn't have much time to take pictures. Here are a few that I grabbed.

Re: Ice Storm
Lovely work here Robbo, a great sense of the abstract you've got there
![]() I like No1 but would prefer a wider aperture just to blur the BG off a touch and give it some separation. But that's just being picky, I love them all ![]() Cheers, Rob |

Re: Ice Storm
Thanks for the responses guys. Rob, I agree about changing the aperture on #1. When I noticed the road in the upper left it bummed me out a bit. I was too distracted while shooting to look carefully. The hard part about shooting ice I found was that it is hard to go back later in the day and make a change! BTW, I saw your video on DOF. Well done. I also am in education and looking down the barrel of my 15 anniversary, but keep the facial hair to my chin. The similarities seem to run further than the name.

Re: Ice Storm
Looks like you did well to take the pictures without suffering frost bite
