I'm ecstatic
As mentioned in another thread, I caved in earlier this week. Been wanting dreaming of that since I got my first SLR.
Working nights in my new job, and that takes a bit of the sunlight away as I'm in bed sleeping. Got a decent chance today, and here's one of the shots I'm most pleased with. It has lost quite a bit of detail when compressing to 200K.  I'm a little bit torn on the ammount of space on top, but I decided to keep it. Canon EOS 400D EF-S 60mm Macro USM @ 1/80 f7/.1 ISO100. Appreciate comments and critique. |

Thanks for your comments guys. Still can't fully decide on the space up top
 .I also noticed today I made a big boo-boo. When compressing and during PP I forgot to convert to sRGB  . New version below, better detail and sRGB

Thank you for the nice comments. Good to know I'm getting better.
Helps to have the right equipment, and a place like Pixalo to ask for advice when everything falls to pieces .
