Re: Ingleton Fall's
The Ingleton waterfall trail is a spectacular walk Ray as you'll know. Good set here, the first shot could do with being a tad sharper but captured the action of the falls none the less.
I have a couple from the Ingleton trail as does Rob Barron in our galleries. Good Work though. Did you visit anyway else in the area? |

Re: Ingleton Fall's
My wife and I had a lovely time doing that same walk back in October, had a wonderful time and took photos like it was going out of fashion!
Nice set here but as Stu has said, the first one suffers from movement blur. And no, I'm not talking about the water which I know is supposed to have blur in it In order for these shots to work well, the softness of the water needs to be a strong contrast with the sharpness of the rocks and plants around it. It looks like you tried doing the Thornton force shot handheld or it was windy and your tripod moved. A steady tripod is an absolute must to get these shots looking strong. The Triple Spout shot is good and suffers from the one thing you can do absolutely nothing about: the mottled shadows caused by the mass of trees around it. But you've done well with the scene so well done. Another good place to visit up there is Aira Force which is on the western side of Ullswater, quite a challenge to find the best angles but a great place to visit. I used to live in Bassenthwaite so still consider the Lake District to be part of me, one of the most special places I know. You can go wherever you like on this planet but you won't outdo the Lake District for its beauty. Cheers, Rob

Re: Ingleton Fall's
Yup, definitely Ray. That's a nicely angled shot and has captured the flow of the water over the lower rocks very nicely. Well done
